MOST PROBLEMS CAN BE SOLVED BY REBOOTING YOUR SET-TOP BOX:

Soft Reset:

USING YOUR REMOTE CONTROL:

1. Press the XFINITY Button
2. Hight light Settings(gear) then Press ok
3. Using the Down arrow, hightlight Device Settings and press OK
4. Using the Down Arrow, Select Power Preferences and press OK
5. Using the Down Arrow, Select Restart and press ok
6. Use the Right Arrow to Highlight Restart and Press OK

 

This can also be done via your smart phone or ipad when you are not at home.

Using the Plug:

1. Press and hold the Power Button on the front of your box for 10 seconds
OR

1. Unplug the power cord from the back of the box for 10 seconds and then plug it back in

Hard Reset:

1. Hold the Power Button on the front of your box
2. While holding it, unplug the power cord on the back of the box
3. Put the power button back in
4. Release the Power button

Weird But Works:

If your system freezes, sometimes shaking the box helps
